| Lucky Craft Anglers Stay Connected
COSTA MESA, Calif. (January 15, 2009) - Several Lucky Craft pro staff members are connecting with fans through the Internet. Some have had Web sites for years while others are new to cyber space. Lucky Craft's Skeet Reese recently joined the World Wide Web when he created his new fan-based Web site (www.skeetreeseinc.com). With a look all its own and several headings at the top of the page, Reese's Web site will keep his fans up-to-date and informed. On the homepage, fans can find recent news or click on other tabs to be redirected to Reese's personal bio, sponsor lists, photos, store and much more. "I wanted the fans to be able to get closer to me and have access to what's going on in my life as well as on tour," Reese said. "I wanted a place for them to purchase exclusive fishing gear as well as my signature lines. It has taken several years for me to get into the cyberworld, just for the fact that I wasn't ready. I wanted to do it right when I did it." Reese got it right the first time around, and with the addition of the video blogs, Reese hopes fans will enjoy interacting on the site. "I am looking forward to getting 2009 up and going," Reese added. "I think that when people go to my site, they will see it definitely reflects me. I hope they enjoy it." Lucky Craft's newest addition, Casey Ashley, isn't so new to the Internet and all it has to offer. Unlike Reese, who found it worked best for him to wait until he was established before he ventured out, Ashley created his personal Web site right away. After his second year on the Tour and his many successes, Ashley's site is sure to be a popular one. Ashley's Web site (http://www.caseyashley.com/) offers fans the chance to get to know him better through news articles, bios, photos, videos and more. Alabama resident and Lucky Craft pro Gerald Swindle's site (http://www.geraldswindle.com/) is unique in many ways. Although some anglers decide to keep their sites strictly fishing, Swindle wants to share his other loves with his fans, too. "I wanted to stay connected with the fans, and I thought a personal Web site was the best way to do that," Swindle said. "My favorite part of the site is the photo section. I love fishing, but I wanted my fans to see other sides of me, as well. I love sharing pictures of my family, my trophy deer and my hot rods, to name a few." Several other Lucky Craft anglers are offering fans the ultimate in on-line access, too. Lucky Craft pros Joe Thomas (http://joethomasfishing.homestead.com/), Anthony Gagliardi (http://anthonygagliardi.com/) and Brent Ehrler (http://www.brentehrler.com/) all have personal Web sites, and Kelly Jordon's new site (http://www.kellyjordon.com/) is also up and running.
In addition to the Lucky Craft angler Web sites, Lucky Craft's new blog has become a popular site for media, fans and anglers alike. The Daily Crank keeps visitors updated on everything from new product releases to the latest news on Lucky Craft and the pro staff. The most recent post, "Gerald Swindle Honors Brother Tony With Ink," includes an image of Gerald Swindle's new tattoo. Check out the official Lucky Craft blog at www.thedailycrank.com. |
